EFCO Forms

The EFCO PLATE GIRDER forming system offers a range of panel sizes, available in widths from 2′ to 12′ (600 mm to 3600 mm) and lengths from 1′ to 20′ (300 mm to 6000 mm). Its Combination Bias Corners (CBC) and Reverse CBC corners eliminate the need for costly wood fills. This system can accommodate a form area of up to 64 ft² (5.76 m²) per tie and withstands pour pressures of up to 3800 lb/ft² (190 kPa), providing an exceptional architectural concrete finish.

Durability: The heavy gauge EFCO steel web serves as both the structural web and the form face sheet, ensuring long-lasting performance.

Self-Spanning: The EFCO corner bearing block allows for efficient force transfer between modular forms, enabling aerial concrete pours without the need for expensive and time-consuming shoring.

Concrete Forming: The steel ribs act as web stiffeners and beams, effectively distributing the horizontal pressures of liquid concrete from the form face to the top and bottom flanges.

Modular Versatility: The PLATE GIRDER forming system features modular lengths and widths that can be easily connected, allowing for adaptability to changing job conditions.
